Happy long weekend... I hope you’re having a nice Bank Holiday.
Most sensible people enjoy a break from their work when they go on holiday. We’ve just returned from 2 weeks in France, and, well, you won’t be surprised to know I painted and drew every day, possibly more than at home.
I'm excited to share the details of my next big project shortly. If you follow me on social media, you will have guessed it involves beetles. Specifically dung beetles. One of the nice things about this is the excuse to spend time in a field of cows. So here are the back ends of a couple of cows, to break you in gently!
BS5 Art Trail
Last but not least, InBristol studios are holding an open studio as part of the BS5 Art Trail 2025 on the weekend of 6th-7th September.
They will be running a silent Art Auction with money raised going to help children and families in Gaza via MAP / medical aid for Palestinians. I have donated some work to the auction, bids start at £15.
