Talking with entomologist Erica McAlister about the connection between museum collections, art, and fieldwork.
To go out with a bang (or rather a buzz), after my month of taking over the Society of Wildlife Artists instagram, I’m delighted that Dr Erica McAlister will be LIVE with me to talk about dung beetles, flies, and how fieldwork ties together with museum collections.
Erica is Principal Curator of flies and fleas at The Natural History Museum in London, and a regular face at Knepp Wilding Estate (where Dungscape is set). She is a most engaging speaker, author, and the referee of my bursary project.
