We are putting the finishing touches to the show at Knepp. It is such a beautiful space, with warm buff-coloured walls and good light. Here is a preview of the exhibition catalogue, for your delectation:

One of the many people who helped with Dungscape (with some great photos, particularly the Hornet robberfly in the linocut) is Neil Hulme. Isabella Tree (co-owner of Knepp) interviews him in this fascinating podcast recorded recently, about the project he is co-ordinating to reintroduce the black-veined white butterfly to the UK:
I promised a mention of linocuts - they’re big! The Hornet robberfly and Purple emperor butterfly linocuts are just over 40x30cm printed area, multicoloured, and uncompromising.
There is also (cut and printed on holiday) a more traditional swallow in flight, chasing a dungfly. I so enjoyed cutting and printing it on holiday, and after all that time at Slimbridge, and practicing on the Dungscape swallow, feel confident the feather arrangement is anatomically correct.
All three linocuts are on show and available at Knepp. They can also be ordered from the catalogue - it makes no difference to price/gallery commission (for those who are kind enough to ask).
