Gallery news and invitations for you...
Do you, like me, keep half an eye out for Christmas presents once we've passed June?!
I'm so excited to share two new gallery shows, full of potential 'winning gifts' ready to wrap and smugly stash away.
The Aga Kubish Art Gallery & Studio
Featuring beauty spots across Somerset, from Susannah Crook's close-up pebble watercolours to Maria Rose ROI's loose painterly landscapes, there is something for all budgets and tastes in this group show "Somerset Aspects"

Invitation
To enjoy the new display with a glass of fizz, we'd love to see you at the Private View from 6pm THIS SATURDAY evening. No ticket needed. There will be lots of artists there delighted to talk about their work, and no obligation to buy... it will look something like this:

... or, come when it's quiet during gallery hours (pick a nice day and take a stroll on the sweeping sands).
The good weather fills up the street cafés in the heart of Clifton, creating a bustling iconic scene to paint. I set my easel up in Boyce's Avenue, facing towards The Arcade (a historic covered passageway of boutique shops).
Huw Richards Evans Art Gallery
At the far end of the Arcade is the effervescent Huw Richards Evans' gallery. You are guaranteed a very warm welcome there - I've known Huw and his wonderful artwork for decades, so it's a privilege to be invited to show there.

Help your friends!
If you are "difficult to buy for" and see something you'd like for yourself, it's basically a public service to take the guesswork out of present-buying by pointing people this way when they ask what you'd like!
Not forgetting of course that the best things in life are free ❤️
Have a great weekend,
Gail xxx
