Portrait Artist Of The Year - on TV this Wednesday

Heat 2 of Portrait Artist Of The Year will be aired at 8pm GMT this Wednesday. This is the 10th series, which is an indicator of how popular the show is... with 3 celebrity sitters, tune in to watch me alongside 8 fantastic artists, all competing for a spot in the December semi-final.
Broadcast by Sky Arts, it is available on Now TV, or on Freeview Channel 11.
I will be sharing a detailed blog here after the show is aired, choc full of behind-the-scenes photos, and spoilers galore. Here's a shot of presenter Dame Joan Bakewell talking with me during the first hour.

I've managed to shoe-horn the script into my head, and am now practicing delivery. Their website has now been updated with the speakers, click here to see the very impressive company who will be on that stage.
The Society of Wildlife Artists exhibition opens on 2nd November at The Mall Galleries, just round the corner from Trafalgar Square. For a sneak preview, here's a link to view and purchase from the online exhibition.

And finally... I will be painting none other than Sir Lenny Henry in person, alongside 199 other artists, as part of the Sky Arts Guinness World Record Attempt on 28th October.
